Meet Our Stylists
At Alchemy, the Salon, we have a talented team of stylists who are dedicated to their craft. We have two types of stylists: Session Stylists and Booth Renter Stylists.
Session Stylists
Our Session Stylists are dedicated to providing a personalized experience for each client. They work one-on-one, dedicating their undivided attention to every client. Each stylist has an hourly rate, which includes all services within the time frame booked. This means that you know exactly what you're paying before you arrive for your appointment. Our Session Stylists are:
- Imogene Wilson, Master Stylist & Colorist: Imogene has spent nearly two decades behind the chair, and is committed to bringing out the inner beauty in each of her clients. She specializes in dimensional color and balayage painting techniques, leaving your hair looking sunkissed, lived-in, and natural.
- Mercedes McAfee, Senior Stylist: Mercedes is enthusiastic, and proves time and time again, there is truly nothing she can't do when it comes to hair. She loves working with brunettes and vivid clients, and specializes in curly textures!
- Jenn Ramos, Colorist: Jennifer is committed to giving her clients gorgeous hair. She is well-educated in different hair textures, and specializes in long hair-foilayage & dimensional color, Brazilian Blowouts, treatments and haircare, and extensions.
Booth Renter Stylists
Our Booth Renter Stylists run their own businesses, and you can book appointments with them directly. They are:
- Kristina Ivezaj, Stylist: Kristina has been doing hair for over 20 years, both in Michigan and Connecticut. She specializes in extensions, long hair, and finds inspiration in pushing the envelope with her creative color & cuts.
- Jessii May Ruffin, Stylist: Jessii brings diversity, a bubbly personality, and her passion for working with all hair types! She loves being educated in new techniques and prides herself on staying up-to-date on the newest trends.
- Ashley Carolan, Stylist: Ashley, behind the chair for 10 years, is a happy, energetic, and passionate stylist. She specializes in blonding techniques such as highlights, hair painting, and lived-in color.
- Kat Viera, Stylist: Kat, a hair extraordinaire in the world of beauty, whose journey began at the illustrious Toni & Guy European hair school. With 8 years of industry excellence and also a former salon owner.
